Well, I've gone and done it. Did a whole revamp of my site. Using a modified version of the Flont template, but it still needs much more work.

I removed the Photos section, but I'll be uploading them all to deviantArt in the near future. Some are already there, but it'll take a while to get them all up so please be patient.

Just did an update of my site. Lots of new photos in the the brand new Photo section.

Plenty more to come soon. Here's just a small sample.

I think this new photo turned out pretty good. It was really foggy the other night and I tried to get a couple of shots of the light rays in the mist. Some came out okay, but then as I was leaving the field I was in, I took a couple more photos just to see what the trees would look like with a long exposure.

Well, here's the result of the experiment. One ginormous photo. 19 pics in all. At 5770x3322 it's one of my bigger stitches.

Field of Light

I wanted to test out my new panoramic photo jig on something (Thanks Dan for letting me use your grandpa's table saw) so I used the mushroom growing at the bottom of a fallen tree. I initially thought it was a sulfur shelf, or chicken mushroom, but now that I look at it it could be a really pale Grifola frondosa, hen of the woods. Anyways, I think the new jig works really well and I can't wait to take more photos. This was a total of about 30 photos with my macro lens. The final comp is just under 18 MB and measures 4090 x 4817.
