Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 4:10AM Here's a model I've been working on while not yelling at Flash. Just the start of the Diffuse Map and I added in a quick Specular Map to see what would happen. Polycount is a bit high at 3,448 but the team wanted a super detailed model for the main weapon. Could probably drop it to 1,000 and it would still look okay. Haven't tested it in game though.

Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 4:06AM Done for now. Class is over and I'm pretty sick of Flash for a while. At least I got most of the stuff I wanted to work, working. Added in a Pause feature, but it didn't quite work as it tend to break the game if you paused in between waves of enemies. Hopefully I can figure out how to do it later. Overall I'm pretty pleased with the results.

Friday, February 10, 2012 at 9:39AM Really excited about officially learning to use Flash. Been trying to learn this program for years and could never wrap my brain around it. My new class has a great book and I should be able to post the games I create to my site. Won't be too spectacular, but should be amusing.

Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 1:18AM Finally got some respectable stuff to post. Finished up my 3d Modeling and Animation IV class on Wednesday and I've got two new videos. The first is a fly though that could honestly be better, but I rushed it a bit at the end and didn't get nearly enough time to do more with the camera or the texture. The second is a turntable of the robot character I created. I really like how the glow effect came out.

Sunday, October 2, 2011 at 6:37AM Just started playing this new game a couple of days ago. A-Mazing!
Not amazing in the sense that it's ultra realistic, but the depth of the game play is superb. The artistry is really good too. Bright colors, good shadows, and really interesting lighting. So many thing to explore.
But the best part for me is that whoever is drawing the mushrooms did their research. There are all kinds in this persistent multiplayer world. There are chanterells, boletes, amanitas, shelf mushies, trumpets, and even some enoki like mushrooms. BRAVO I say.
